1/10m ? Review the words and expressions in last class and tell Ss to remember them. ? Ask some questions to warm up their interests and lead into the topic of the text naturally. (Q1: what kind of teacher do they like? Q2: who are their favorite teachers and ask them to share with us. Q3: Their guess at these three teachers’ character and their teaching style) ? Show some questions on the screen and read them for the Ss. (Q1: who are these three teachers? Q2: what subjects do they teach? Q3: what’s the writer’s impression of those three teachers? ? After Ss grasp the general idea of the text, guide them to do intensive reading for a better understanding.

Make the Ss do the intensive reading ? and answer questions.(Q1: Does writer feel stupid in Mrs. Li class? Why? ? Q2: Which paragraph tell us what the teachers look like? Q3 :Who is the kindest teacher? Q4: Which teacher are students most afraid of? Q5 :Which teacher explain things clearly? On page 13, exercise 4.) Ask the Ss to answer it and point out where they found it.

Read the text Individual again carefully work Try to answer the questions on page 13, exercise 4.
