Artificial Ear Artificial Mouth Acoustic Chamber CMD55

Instrument Description:
CMD55: Radio communication tester. MFE VI: Measurement frontend. MFE IV forms the connecting link
between data acquisition via the artificial mouth/ear and digital speech quality analysis with ACQUA.

HMA IV: HEAD Mouth Amplifier. It is used as an extension of MFE VI to
control the artificial mouth.

HLC I: (CMD55 use only) HLC I is a bi-directional stereo interface for
matching the input and output levels of the unbalanced connectors of the HEAD acoustics measurement frontend MFE VI and the radio communication tasters CMD55 or CMU200.

Load All-Pass Parameters to NVRAM

2. Load All Pass Parameters.

1. Upload the parameter from flash.

3. Download the All Pass Parameters to Flash.

UPL: Get “.trc” File
Perform Receiving Frequency Response Save the “.trc” file

ACQUA (1) Get “.hdf” File

1. Select the test result which will be used for FIR tuning. 2. Select the file type. 3. Export the file.

ACQUA (2) Transform “.hdf” to “.txt”

1. Use the program “HDF2Text” provided by ACQUA, and open the “.hdf” file.

2. Click the right button on Frequency (Hz) column 3. Set the precision to 0.

4. Save the file as “.txt”.

ACQUA (3) Transform from “excel” file

If don’t have the program “HDF2Text”, Export file as “Excel” format.

ACQUA (4) Transform from “excel” file

Open the Excel file, delete the description part.

ACQUA (5) Transform from “excel” file

1. Change the Frequency column to integer 2. Save the file as “txt” file.

2. Load input file and setup output file path.

3. Click “Idealize”, and “Run”

Change the value to 1 will increase the sound volume

If not satisfied, you can adjust the Idealize curve on graph directly, or change the value on the right side.

Load the Parameter to NVRAM

1. Load the parameter from FIR tuning result

2. Download the parameters to flash

Volume Setting (1) Microphone

Microphone setting will affect SLR 16 per step, and increase 1 step will decrease SLR 3dB

Volume Setting (2) Speech Tone

Speech Tone setting will affect RLR 16 per step, and increase 1 step will decrease RLR 2dB

Volume Setting (3) SideTone

SideTone setting will affect STMR 16 per step, and increase 1 step will decrease STMR 2dB

5、Attention Items 、
1、若做了任何SMD测试后,还要做Calibration及equalization或Reference,请务必先关闭 ACQUA,再次开启ACQUA后再做。 2、重新启动ACQUA,必须检查Setting是否正确。 3、出音孔的位置对Receiving测项的影响很大。手机发音孔对准人工耳的中心。 4、改变位置后,重新确认RFR、SFR是否在MARK内。 5、放置手机时注意要用压杆压紧手机 6、测试仪器属精密仪器,测试使用过程中请小心。 7、ACQUA软件测试结果保存设置为连续保存,为了防止保存数据过多,请在测试完成保 7 ACQUA 存好自己的测试结果后,删除软件中的测试记录。 8、测试完成后,请在管理者检查后离开。 9、遵守公司规定,请勿在工作区随意走动。
