How to write an essay: As a coin has two sides, everything has two aspects. On one hand, if cloning is used in a correct way it can bring much convenience to us. Firstly… Secondly… Lastly… On the other hand, if cloning is used in an evil way it can cause much trouble. Firstly… Then… last but not least… Therefore, we should use cloning in a correct way.

Tapescript From VOA Learning English, this is Science in The News. I’m Tina. Scientists in Scotland have announced the birth of the world's first successfully cloned mammal, Dolly the sheep.

Dolly is the first cloned sheep in the world.She was born in July 1996 in England. In contrast with the previous clonings which are from embryo cells, Dolly is cloned from a stem cell. The sheep's birth has been treated as one of the most significant scientific breakthroughs of the decade. They cloned the sheep by inserting DNA from a single sheep cell into an egg and implanted it in a surrogate mother. DNA tests have discovered that Dolly resembled the ewe who donated the cell both in appearance and DNA. Although she is young,she has four babies already.Unfortunately,she died in 2003.
