Children find it difficult to concentrate on or pay attention to school. What are the reasons? How can we solve this problem? Last decades have witness a significant change in almost every as
pect of our life. Compare to their parents, the children of school age do not focus on their academic performance in school. There are both endogenous and exogenous rationales behind this phenomenon and I attempt to give answers to this headache. Obviously,so immature are the school-agechildren that they are easy to be affected by the external circumstance. There are too manytemptations including Internet addiction, for example, distracting their attention from the school. According to reports, increasing number of children abandon learning in class for entertaining online. In addition, improper propagandize would be another critical factor. Mass media spread a false attitude and value which advocate the pointlessness of study. This would directly account for the distraction of school learning among teenagers. Apart from the impacts of the outer environment, the characters of children are also contribute to this issue. Teenagers, especially those in primary schools, are hard to concentrate on one thing for a long time and prone to be attract by other affairs. This phenomenon is much in evidence in classes, particularlyin those tedious ones. It is the high time to introduce some practicable solutions to tackle this unpleasant issue by the government, schools and parents. First of all, the false propaganda ought to be banned via the strict censorship imposed on the mass media. Itis a necessity to provide an appropriate environment for our offspring. The educational authorities and schools should put more efforts into adjusting the strategies of schooling including offering proper schedules and courses which fit in the feature of school-agechildren. Besides, parents need to pay more attention on their children to protect their children from the distracted temptations. In conclusion, I would like to emphasis that we have no choice but adjusting the way of education to face up to this trouble by making the full use of all the resources because the well-educatedyoung generationsare the future of a nation.
