Make yourself comfortable. 形容词 He made them work hard. 省to不定式 I made myself understood. 过去分词 I made him outside the room. 介词 A lot of exercise made him a strong boy. 名词

6.inspire sth. in sb. (=inspire sb. with sth.) 使某人产生某种感情,激发某人的某种感情。 那位父亲激发了儿子的信心。 The father inspired confidence in his son. 他经常引起我们的厌恶。 He inspires dislike in us. [问题探究] We were inspired by his inspiring speech?这句话 如何翻译?

9. fortunate adj. 幸运的,吉利的。 be fortunate in doing 在……方面幸运 她很幸运嫁了一个好丈夫。 She is fortunate in having a good husband. be fortunate to do sth. 幸运的能做某事 我很幸运有健康的身体。 I’m fortunate to have good health. Ⅰ.书面表达增分策略 句式结构 对文章而言,结构好比“骨架”,作为具体内容的句 子就是文章的“血肉”。有了好的结构,还要有丰满的血 肉之躯,这就要求我们要写出好句子。好句子的标准应是 :用词准确、逻辑清晰、简洁明了、可读性强。在写书面 表达时,为了增强句子表现力,我们就要学会复合句在写 作中的应用,复合句可以增强句子之间的逻辑关系,从而 使句子变得紧凑。 另外,还要学会用不同的表达方式丰富句式,如强调句 、倒装句等,还要学会简单句与复合句交替使用、分词及 with复合结构等的使用。
