重点:使学生学习并理解“中国唐山地震的不眠之夜” 难点:如何让学生通过自己阅读文章从中获得有关唐山地震的消息 教学目标:1.让学生了解唐山大地震的有关情况——地震前所发生的一些异常
现象,地震发生后对整个城市造成的毁灭性破坏,以及随之而来的全 国军民大援救。 2.帮助学生认识: 如果能够了解并认识地震前的预

兆,就能提前做好准 备,减少或避免不必要的损失。

设计理念:以“地震”话剧以及“5.12 汶川地震”为话题导入,结合概括段意,
分段细读的“任务型教学” ,激发高一学生的阅读兴趣,让他们深刻体 会地震带来的巨大灾难,珍惜现在所拥有的一切。 ‘

教学流程: Step1.激发兴趣,导入主题(Lead-in)
Boys and girls, before the class, I want to show you a short play.Watch it carefully and try to guess what happened. (先通过话剧吸引学生注意力,让学生意识到发生了地震) Earthquake is a kind of powerful diseases. When it happens, lots of people and animals may lose their life. Do you know Wenchuan earthquake? When did it happen? (May 12 in 2008). It was really a terrible disease. We can’t forget that. Actually, in the history, there were many earthquakes. Today, we’ll read a passage about an earthquake happened in 1976. “A Night the earth didn’t sleep” (地震是一种很强大的灾害,当它发生时,许多人和动物会失去生命。知道汶川 地震吗?什么时候发生的?(2008.5.21) ,我们不能忘记这场巨大的灾难。今 天,我们来学习一个发生在 1976 年的地震。

Step2. 快速阅读,训练能力(Fast Reading) (一)设问导入
Do you know the meaning of the title “A Night the Earth Didn’t Sleep”

(二)设置任务
Now, listen to the tape and find out the topic sentence of each paragraph Before the earthquake ↓ In the earthquake

↓ After the earthquake ↓ The city began to breathe again (边听录音边阅读文章,找出每一段的中心句)

Step3.详细阅读,加深理解( Careful reading)
(一)指令导入 Now let’s read the passage in detail (二)设置任务 1. Read paragraph 1 and discuss in groups of four:tell the other three partners strange things in Chinese (四人一组让学生翻译第一段唐山地震前发生的怪事, 并告诉学生唐山地震毁灭 性如此巨大的原因之一就是人们忽略了“怪异现象” ,从而让学生意识到只要能 够注意地震前的预兆,提前做好准备,就能减少不必要的损失。 ) 2. Let students read paragraph 2-4 loudly and finish exercises in the newspaper (让学生大声阅读剩余三段, 通过做学生报纸上的阅读题,当堂训练学生的阅读 能力)

Step4. 回顾温习
Ask one girl to read the passage in Chinese with emotions and other students review the whole passage (通过让一名学生有感情阅读汉语译文,全班欣赏的活动,让学生加深对文章的 理解,并唤起学生对于地震这种灾难的重视,珍惜生命,珍惜身边的一切。 ) Boys and girls, as we know ,earthquake is a disaster. We can’t control it, but we should try our best to protect ourselves. Remember, life is the most important thing. So value your life and everything around you.

教学反思:
本节课是一篇有关唐山地震的阅读课, “地震短剧”和“汶川地震”话题的 导入,能迅速唤起学生的共鸣,激起兴趣。任务型教学能让学生一步步紧跟,很 好地理解课文内容, 同时在教师引导下也能意识到生命的重要性, 达到情感共鸣。 由于本班学生是高一理科班,英语基础相对较好,基本能适应教师的英语授课, 学生与教师交流甚好,达到了预期的教学效果。但在课堂中,由于部分语言不够 连贯, 导致学生在听的过程中有些障碍,今后将继续加强自己在英语口语方面的 能力。

阅读课

重点:使学生了解西方国家餐桌礼仪的跨文化交际信息 难点:如何让学生通过阅读进一步了解西方餐桌礼仪
教学目标:1.提高阅读技巧,培养阅读能力 2.扩展餐桌礼仪中礼貌与不礼貌的知识 3.了解一些西方国家餐桌礼仪文化

设计理念: 采用快速阅读与细节阅读相结合, 运用独立阅读及小组讨论方式 (任
务型教学) ,结合话剧表演,让学生根据文章画图等形式,激发艺术班 学生的兴趣,以达到较好的教学效果。

Step1. 激发兴趣,导入主题(Lead-in)
Before the class, I want to show you a short play. Please watch the play carefully and think about one question: What did I do? At the same time, please try to remember my action. (先通过表演有关西方餐桌礼仪的小短剧,激发学生兴趣,为阅读文章做铺垫) (一)设问导入 Do you know some table manners at a dinner party? (二)设置任务 Now, let’s listen to the tape, try to finish two tasks: ① Answer the question: What are good table manners? ② Match the paragraph and main idea. (边听录音边阅读文章,完成两个任务: ① 回答问题:好的餐桌礼仪指的是什么. ② 搭配段落及主要内容)

Step 3.详细阅读,加深理解(Careful Reading)
(一)指令导入 Just now we have got the general idea of this passage, now let’s read the passage in detail. (二)设置任务 1. Read part 1 carefully, try to finish two tasks:① Read by yourself, find out the devices for eating at a western dinner ② Discuss with your partner and draw a picture about devices (阅读部分 1,①讲出西方晚宴所需用具 ②和同桌讨论画出餐具位置图) 2. Read part 2 carefully, finish two tasks: ① In what order will the following dishes be served at a western dinner party?

② Yes/No ⑴ In western countries, should glasses touch when drinking to someone’s health?(No) ⑵ Should westerners take only a sip?(Yes) ⑶ Should westerners drink too much during a dinner?(No) (读第 2 部分,找出① 在西方晚宴上菜顺序 ② 完成是/不是题) 3. Read part 3 carefully, answer the question: Why is it difficult for follow good table manners? (读第 3 部分,回答:为什么人们很难遵循好的餐桌礼仪)

Step 4.阅读练习,归纳比较
1.教师诱导 Until now we have know some western table manners, now I’ll give you a little quiz. 2. 练习 Now discuss with your partner whether these behaviors at a Chinese dinner party are polite or not. (讨论在中国晚宴上这些行为是否礼貌) ①Begin to have the meal while there are someone else absent. (I) (在别人还没到时就开始用餐) ②When drinking to someone’s health, you praise your glasses, and the glasses should touch with others. (P) (当为某人健康干杯时,你举起酒杯,酒杯应该和别人碰一下) ③Take more food if you are not full. (p) (如果没吃饱就再要些吃的) ④ Stand up to get the food. (I) (站起来去取食物)

教学反思:
本堂课是一堂有关西方饮食礼仪的阅读课, “小话剧” “画用具摆放图”的设 计及“任务教学法”的使用,符合艺术班学生的特长,能调动学生积极性,基本 上达到理解文章的目的。但由于是艺术班学生,英语基础始终相对薄弱,不能很 好理解部分内容,与教师的呼应欠缺,导致未能达到理想效果。究竟如何上好艺 术班的英语课是今后要认真思考的问题。

写作课

重点:写一封解决生活当中实际问题的建议信

难点:如何让学生掌握写建议信的格式,并且有内容可写
教学目标:1.阅读一封有关不善交际的人如何交朋友的来信,以提高阅读技能
2.进行写作训练,使学生掌握建议信的书信格式

设计理念:1.通过四人小组交流,独立阅读的形式锻炼学生说和读的能力
2.学生讨论并给出一些处理不善交际问题的提议,为写作做好铺垫

Step1. 激发兴趣,导入主题
Boys and girls, you have studied here for a period of time. Do you like here? This school, this class and your classmates? Then do you have some problems? Now please tell your problem to your partner. (通过与学生交流近期学校生活,可以拉近话题与学生的距离,让学生彼此讨论 自己遇到的问题,可以激发学生兴趣)

Step2. 阅读来信,总结问题
(一)设问导入,设置任务 Here is a letter from XiaoDong. Read this letter carefully and try to get the problem of XiaoDong. (学生独立阅读来信,可以培养阅读能力,自己发现信中所讲的问题)

Step 3.小组讨论,自给建议
(一)设问导入 Do you have the same problem with XiaoDong? http://www.zhuanniu.com/ (二)设置任务 Now, please discuss in groups of four and give some suggestions about how to get along well with classmates. (学生四人一组讨论并给出建议,能锻炼英语口语,丰富写作内容,为课后写作 做好铺垫)

Step 4.介绍格式,指导写作
(一)英语信件的书写格式 Do you know the form of English letter? No.3 Senior Middle School No.× QingShan Road BaoTou China November 1, 2009 Dear---

(二)建议信的书写 Just now we’ve learnt the form of English letter, now let’s look at this sample in the book and learn some expressions. (通过指导学生学习课本所给出的有关建议信的一些表达, 帮助学生为写作训练 做准备)

Step 5. 写作训练,进行输出
Now write a letter to give suggestions. After writing, hand in to the teacher.

课后反思:
本节课是一堂写作课, 目的是要让学生学会如何用英语写一封建议信。通过 小组讨论,共同总结建议的形式能调动学生兴趣,扩展思维,丰富内容,为之后 的写作做好铺垫,同时读,说,写的活动也让学生各方面能力得到了锻炼,基本 上达到了预期的教学效果。 但由于高一的学生英语水平不均,部分学生当堂写作 有些吃力,还需要今后继续加强练习,督促指导。

综合技能课

重点:让学生体会并欣赏诗(歌词) 难点:如何能激发学生的思维和想象力去感受诗的美

教学目标:1.学习有感情的大声朗读英语诗歌
2. 学习欣赏简单的诗歌,并让学生了解诗和歌词在一定程度上是相 联系的

设计理念:1. 播放经典歌曲激发学生的学习兴趣
2. 独自阅读一篇表达个人对诗和歌曲强烈喜爱之情的文章以培养 阅读能力 3.头脑风暴激发学生的想象力

教学流程: Step1. 激发兴趣,导入主题(Lead-in)
Read the Lyrics and sing to the music. Emilia - Big Big World After enjoy the song, ask the Ss what the song about? Do you like it? Why? Ask them to compare singing songs to reading poems. (通过欣赏歌曲让学生猜歌词,激发学生的学习兴趣)

Step2. 阅读训练,培养能力 (Reading)
After the previous brief activity of comparing singing songs and reading poems, lead them to the title Songs and Poems. Ask “Are the song words also a kind of poem lines?” They may think of the fact that in ancient times poems were sung. Then, Invite students to list unfamiliar words that they noticed in the passage. e.g. avoid, recite, extraordinary

Step3. 欣赏练习,激发想象
(一)听读结合 (Listening and reading aloud)

Play the recording of Robert frost's Dust of Snow at a high volume as the

students listen and then have them repeat after the recording. Guide them to read with expression. (二)讨论活动 (Discussion)

Discuss how many characters are involved in the poem. (There is no right or wrong answer here as long as the students can give a reason why they want to assign a part to a certain character.) (三)分析欣赏 (Analysis and Appreciation)

Guide them to notice the line "A change of mood". Ask them a few questions 1. his mood has changed, from what mood to what mood? 2. What happens to bring about the change? Then use Brainstorm about how students feel at the beginning of the poem.

本节课是一节有关英语诗歌的综合技能课,通过在阅读一篇表达个人对诗 和歌曲强烈的喜爱之情的文章的基础上要求学生学习欣赏诗歌。播放歌曲,头脑 风暴等活动能激发学生的学习兴趣和想象力, 独立阅读文章能培养学生的阅读能 力, 整堂课基本上达到了预期的教学效果,但英语基础较差始终还是艺术班学生 面临的一个重要问题,需要继续努力去改善。
