B:Students can learn more about the history of Greece. 2.Ability aim:Students can improve the abilities of reading and speaking. 3.Emotion aim:Students can know “Nothing is too difficult if you put your heart into it.” The analysis of the material:This is the fourth period of unit2 in Book2,the students have learned something about the Olympics during the former three periods, so they have much interest in learning more about it. Teaching method: Four-step teaching method Teaching aids:the multi-media Teaching process: Step1: learning by themselves(15 minutes) Teacher check the first part in the learning plan. Teacher: last period we learned something about the Olympic games, the modern Olympic games and the ancient Olympic games, today we will learn a story about the ancient Olympic games, a story of Atlanta. Now, please look at the pictures.(teacher play the multi-media and show the picture.
