教材分析: 本单元主要谈论话题“things around the house”,其中 section A 则围

绕学习“询问物品的位置”的重点而展开多种任务的教学活动, 使学生学会用基 本句型“Where’s my schoolbag ? It’s on/in/under?”来表达物品的位 置。 教学目标: 1. learn the new words (things around the house). 2. Master the target language of talking about where things are. 3. Learn to use prepositions in,on,under 4. Be neat, and put your things in order. 教学重点与难点 1. Vocabulary:table,chair,bed,sofa,bookcase,in,on,under,where, Sentence patterns: Where is the pencil? It is in the schoolbag. Where’s the ruler? It’s under the chair. Where are the books? They’re on the sofa. 2. Grammar: Where questions: Prepositions:on,in,under,. 教学过程:

Step1.Revision
Revise school things by showing the pictures.And ask “What’s this in English?”“What are these?”

Step2:Lead in
Let Ss talk about “What’s in the house?”and show the pictures .

Step 3: Teach the new words
1 .Learn the new words (:table,chair,bed,sofa,bookcase)on the first page of Unit 4 by pictures. 2.Word game: Challenge Ss’memory. Show the pictures on the screen with no words. Get student to speak out their names. 3.Do 1a and check the answers together.

Step 4: Learn the prepositions in / on /under. And learn the new sentences.

1.Get the students to look at the picture on the screen. Learn the new sentences. Where’s Tom? It’s on the box It’s in the box. It’s under the box.. 2.Practice: Look at some pictures and practice the similar conversations. 3.Look at more pictures and learn new conversations: Where are the?? They are ? 4.Practice with a picture with many things in both singular and plural forms. Step 5: Listening: Listening Practice 1b 播放 1b 部分的录音让学生听,引导学生写出所听到的单词的号码,完成 1b 部分的听力任务。

Step6:Do pairwork
让学生小组合作共同探究完成 1c 部分口语交际的教学任务,学会运用 “Where’s my schoolbag? It’s under the chair.” 的 对 话 及 方 位 介 词 “on/in/under”目标句型来表达物品的位置。

Step7:Summary
教师带着学生总结本课重点学习了哪些词汇、句型: 本节课学习了一些室内物体 名词:table,bed, bookcase,sofa,chair, ;学习运用 Where 引导的疑问句 询问物体的位置;学习运用方位介词 on,in,under,等谈论物体的位置。 Step8:homework assignment 参照你房间里的东西用介词 in, on, under 写五个句子。 Unit 4 where’s my schoolbag?
