The key is how to make use of the proper teaching methods; I’ll talk about my teaching methods below. According to the modern perception theories and social intercourse teaching theories, I adopt the TSA method in my teaching, namely Total Situational Action and Task-based Language Teaching. They offer the Ss an opportunity to complete the tasks in which Ss use

language to achieve a specific outcome. The activity reflects real life and learners focus on meaning, they are free to use any language they want. At the same time, make use of the modern electricity teaching equipments and all kinds of teaching means, it can mobilize the Ss’ enthusiasm and creativity in learning English. Studying methods: Let Ss study in a relaxed and agreeable atmosphere. Step1 revision and lead-in Step2 presentation and practice. It contains some small steps such as listening, reading, discussion etc. Step3 task time This step gives the students 5-8 minutes to make a similar dialogue using the phrase and sentences learned in this passage and

everyday life experience according to the given situation (show it on the screen using a multi-media computer). This step is employed to create a language environment for students’communication in the class: if the

students can finish this task well, they will benefit a lot in their spoken English. Step4 consolidation and extension. Finish exx1 and 3 orally, left ex 2as written work. Ex1 revises the object clause( 宾 语从句 ) 。 When transforming the structures, the student are required to pay attention to the change of the verb tenses, personal pronouns and word order. Ex2 is a revision of the modal verbs( 情态动词 ) and some useful expression. Let the Ss work in pairs and then check the answers with the whole class. Step5 homework do ex2 in the exercise books. This is used to make the students have a further understand of the modal verbs. write a short passage about the dialogue learned . this is used to practice writing ability of the students. 假设今天我教授的是南昌市某所普通高中高一年级的学生。对于英

语,学生在经历了小学初中的英语学习之后有了一定的了解。但是 对英语的发展情况,英语的种类,各种英语类型形成的原因,他们 知道的不多,需要进一步了解。 (三) 教法 (1)采用问题引导教学法,激发学生主动参与的热情。 (2)采用分组讨论教学法,使学生在讨论的过程中加深对知识或课 文内容的理解。 (3)学生采用快速阅读的方法,训练学生的阅读速度。 (4)学生采用精读的方法。帮助学生逐字逐句认识单词,短语,并 掌握文章大意。 (5)采用练习巩固教学法,使学生能够对所掌握的东西加以灵活运 用,举一反三。 学法 回答教师所提出的问题,循序渐进地完成教师交给的任务,与教师 的授课步骤一致地学习,促进学生形成良好学习习惯和学习方法 (四) 说教学过程 说教法学法

(1)Lead-in: 我将以头脑风暴的方式向学生提出一系列与本文有关的问题作为今 天课堂的导入。问题如: 1.Do you know the countries where people speak English? List them on a piece of paper.

2.What are the two main groups of English? 3.Do you know the differences between British English and American English? 4.Do you know the history of English? 因为这能使学生在开始阅读之前,在头脑中对文章内容进行预测。 而且带着问题去阅读,能提高阅读的效率。 (2) Fast-reading: 让学生在经过快速阅读之后, 能概括出文章大意。 并且要他们找出每段的关键句或要求学生用自己的话概括每段大 意。此环节进行中,我将全班同学分成五组,并要求每组派代表发 言回答问题,这样可以调动全班积极性,增强学生参与的热情。最 后我将给出答案供学生对照参考。 Paragraph 1: The spread of the English language in the world Paragraph 2: Native speaker can understand each other but they may not be able to understand everything. Paragraph 3-4: All languages change when cultures communicate with one another. Paragraph 5: English is spoken as a foreign language or second language in Africa and Asia. 6. 说板书设计:谈谈板书设计的根据和理由,力求体现说板书设计 的程序性、概括性和艺术性。 四、注重说课信息和反馈与总结 说课的对象可以是专家、同行甚至是学生。向说课对象征询意见、 获取信息,力求不断改进和提高。 五、附 SB 2B U16 Lesson 63 说课稿 Unit 16 Lesson 63 Hello, everyone. Today I’m very pleased to have an opportunity to talk about some of my teaching ideas. My topic is life in the oceans taken from Lesson 63 of Unit 16 in SEFC(2). It is made up of four parts. Part 1 My understanding of this lesson The analysis of the teaching material: This lesson is a reading passage. It plays a very important part in the English teaching of this unit. Lesson 62 and Lesson 63 are a whole unit. By studying Lesson 63, Ss can improve their reading ability, learn more about the sea and the life in the oceans. At the same time, we should get the students to understand some difficult sentences to comprehend the passage better. The Ss should do some listening, speaking and writing, too. Of course, the Ss should receive some moral education. Let the Ss understand the sea better, love the sea and save the sea and the life of the sea. Teaching aims:

1. Knowledge aim: Understand the main idea of the text. 2. Ability aim: Retell the text in their own words. 3. Emotional aim: Make the Ss love the life of the sea and do something to stop it being polluted. Key points / Teaching important points: How to understand the text better. The Ss have known something about the sea and sea life through the Internet and other ways. 2. They are lack of vocabulary. 3. Revision 1. Ask students some questions to revise the last lesson(show them on the screen). a. How much salt do the oceans contain per thousand parts of water?(35 parts of salt. 3.5% by weight) b. What is coral? Why are corals not found in deep water? Greet the whole class as usual. Free discussion method Pair work or Question-and-answer activity

c. Why is the Dead Sea called the Dead Sea? 2. Check the homework(made a survey about the sea or sea life by surfing the Internet or asking for help from other people ). Through this part we can consolidate what they studied yesterday, communicate with others about their survery results and prepare for the new lesson. Step 3. Lead-in and preparation for reading Show them some pictures and let them talk each other, and then use the pictures about sea and life in the oceans to learn new words, for example, Antarctica, huge whale, sperm whale, squid and so on. Purpose: Arouse the students’ interest of study. Bring in new subject: Life in the oceans. Step 4. Fast reading Read the passage as quickly as they can. Intensive reading Read the passage carefully again and answer some detailed questions on the screen. 1. How much does a whale eat at a time? 2. Do all the whales feed on small fish? 3. How deep can a sperm whale dive? It is also called depth reading or study reading. It means reading for detailed information. Purpose: Further understand the text (Train further reading ability) to find out some different sentences and details of the text. Step 7. Step 8. Consolidation 1. Find out the topic sentences. 2. Retell the passage according to the topic sentences.

Purpose: I want to know if my students understand the whole text really and if they master what I mean to tell them in this class. What’s more, I want to let them have the ability of introducing and analyzing expression. At the same time, I will write down the topic sentences on the blackboard according to what the students find, so they can retell it easily. Step 9. Discussion Show them some pictures about the polluted sea and many living things which are in danger and ask them: What are their opinions about it? In order to let them have free choice, I give them another topic: The sea is being polluted. What should they do? Purpose: I mean to give them emotional education. I give them multi-media pictures to arouse their interest of study and their love for life. I mean to make them realize: The sea is in danger! I teach them to do their best to help it and do something from now on. Everyone should do something to love and protect our home. Step 10. Homework Write an article Saving the sea. Blackboard design should be think for a thing that attract the student’ s attention and let them to write down the important teaching points. I will divide the blackboard into two parts .The left part will be used to write the important vocabulary and grammar and their usage. It will be reserved for the whole class. The right part will be precious explanation, I will write some sentence of the words ,phrases and structures to explan their meaning . No matter which steps is taken ,the purpose is to provide teacher and studends with information and internal demand to improve teaching skill and learning quality. strategy and approach will help students become more independent and the successful learner. Teaching methods Teaching aims and demands Blackboard design And conclusion Well, firstly, I’ll talk about part 1 analysis of the teaching material. I have concluded the features of……. 1 . there are a lot pictures. For this, the kids will be interested in the book. As we all know that interest is best teacher for the students. 2. It lays stress on the communication. According to the problem of Chinese students learning English , the book design a lot of material to improve the students’ ability of listening speaking, reading, and writing. So I think the book is very good. Then I’ll talk about next part analysis of the students. It is known to us that the kids are very active and like playing games very much, so during my class, I’ll design some interesting games to activate them to participate and learn something. They will also be interested in the class. Next I’ll talk about teaching methods. My teaching methods are task-based approach and situational approach. Using different methods can make the class active. Let’s move on to another part, teaching aims and demands. There are knowledge aims and ability aims. In this class, I’ll use pictures, PPT and tape recorder. These can arouse the students’ interest in English. Now I’ll talk about most important part teaching procedure. It consists of 5 steps. Warning up, lead-in, contents key points and difficult points and homework. Step1 is warming up. Here I’ll use PPT to play a English song Bingo for the students and I’ll ask them try to follow it to sing together. By this, the students can be interested in it and pay their attention to our class easily and improve their ability of speaking. Step2 is lead-in (导入根据所授内容设计, 可通过展示与本课有关的 话题或者图片等等引出本课话题) Step 3 is contents(本部分为主要授课内容及组织的课堂活动。可从听 说读写四块分写) Step 4 is key points and difficult points(本部分列出本课重难点可为单 词句型或语法知识) Step 5 is homework.(作业形式最好新颖, 例如课让学生根据本课内容 做个小调查等) (conclusion) To be a good English teacher is my dream, I think a teacher is not only a guide for the students, but also a friend of them.
