English Writing Skills Training Reports
First of all, thanks for giving me the opportunity to attend the train. It’s my honor to learn and communicate with the excellent teacher. Looking

back upon the day, I harvest so much though a little tired. The train subject is teaching us how to master writing skill, especially e-mail writing. According to the train, I know the following: First, business e-mail includes five parts: 1. Writer’s e-mail address、 receiver’s e-mail address and CC receiver’s e-mail address; 2. Subject, explaining the e-mail purport, should be catching the attention and clear. It is better a noun or gerund. 3. The salutation should be in line with writing custom. (It always likes this greeting add salutation, using comma not colon. ) Text should line down the salutation. Text is clarity in case reading. If the text is long you can use subtitle、underscore ,making e-mail sense of order. 4. Polite ending 5. Writer’s full name/position and department/address/Tel NO.and fax etc.

Second, business e-mail follows the five principles: Correctness/ Conciseness/ Complete/ Clarity/Courtesy.

Third, business e-mail ceremony It is very important to respect somebody. You know how to save his time. Sent

the valuable information to him. 1. It is better to refer to one subject. 2. You can change the subject when replying, not RE and RE. 3. Courtesy means ‘thank you’/’please’and so on can be fined in the e-mail. 4. Using first/second and third ect.to make text clarity. 5. The e-mail should be complete. Do not sent e-mail again after two minutes to add or modify. 6. Try to avoid writing mistake and you should check before sending. 7. Remind of receiver the properly information, using upper case/ bold italic and background color. 8. Use form and picture. If there are many pictures you can give them a label. 9. Receive the e-mail without attachment but reply e-mail with pictures, you should remind receiver to check the attachment. 10. Courtesy in business e-mail likes Please, sorry Thank you ,I really appreciate that…,would you please…?Etc. The train time is so short. We draw out our activity in the designed link and harvest so much. I will use this in writing e-mail as much as possible. I would like to thank my leader again. I will try my best. Come on!
